I am writing to express my interest in the Student Nursing program offered by your hospital. PHMC has an outstanding reputation for providing exceptional healthcare services, and I am inspired to contribute my skills, compassion, and dedication to your mission.
Growing up, I was close with my grandmother who was a Registered Nurse at San Fierro Medical Center. I always admired her and the work she did with helping others. Being exposed to the healthcare field at an early age, I took classes that I needed in high school to help me along the way then volunteered at SFMC in the on-site clinic. I proceeded to get my Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certification. I fell in love with the commitment I make to patient care every day and enrolled in classes to become a Registered Nurse.
I believe I am a strong candidate for this position because I possess the innate ability to empathize with patients, treating each individual with the respect, dignity, and kindness they deserve. I believe that effective communication and active listening are integral components of nursing, and I am committed to providing compassionate care to those in need. I am an effective communicator, a respectful team member, and I am eager to collaborate with colleagues, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. I hold myself to the highest ethical and professional standards. I understand the importance of patient confidentiality, informed consent, and respecting cultural diversity in healthcare. I am committed to upholding the ethical code of nursing and ensuring patient safety at all times.
In conclusion, I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to your organization's mission and vision as a student nurse. I am confident that my passion, dedication, and alignment with the qualities required for this role make me a compelling choice. I eagerly anticipate the chance to learn from your experienced team, grow as a nursing professional, and ultimately make a meaningful difference in the lives of the patients we serve.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of joining your team and embarking on this exciting journey.

Amanda was born and raised in Del Perro, Los Santos. During her school years, she maintained above-average academic performance, excelled as a volleyball athlete, and was a decent saxophone player in band class. Amanda loves the water and enjoys being near the beach. She was often around Del Perro or Vespucci beach playing volleyball, roller blading, or skateboarding often.
While she was raised under the care of her parents; when she turned 18, Amanda made the decision to relocate to San Fierro to help her grandma care for her sick grandfather. Her grandmother, a Registered Nurse for over 25 years, often brought Amanda along to her workplace, introducing her tothe medical profession from a young age. Amanda fondly remembers spending time behind the nurses' station, where she absorbed the valuable experiences and conversations of the other nurses, as they gossiped and swapped stories about the patients, lovers, and previous shifts.
Following her grandfather's passing, Amanda spent more time during the day helping her grandma at the local hospital, taking on a volunteer position at the on-site clinic. It was mostly just processing paperwork, running errands around the hospital for the doctors, and cleaning at first; but it wasn't enough. Amanda wanted to do more to help. She spoke with one of the ladies down at Human Resources and got guidance on routes she could take, which led Amanda to a vocational college to take classes that allowed her to recieve her Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) license and on to working at a local retirement community to gain experience.
During her employment at the retirement community, she continued to volunteer at the clinic. Since she was licensed now, she got to help a little more with tasks; such as taking vital signs, disinfecting the medical instruments, and doing phlebotomy procedures. Around a year later, Amanda's grandma retired from nursing and Amanda decided it was time to return to Los Santos. With her grandmother's financial support, derived from her pension, Amanda was able to begin her nursing studies at San Andreas State University.
Now, after a year of dedicated study, Amanda is transitioning to the externship phase of her nursing education. She has chosen PHMC, the local hospital, as her preferred placement to gain the practical experience necessary for her future career in healthcare.
