I previously worked at Pillbox Hill Medical Center as an Attending in Emergency Medicine, I left in 2021 and started working in emergency medicine at Las Venturas Hospital. I have since then worked towards a career in primary care, practicing at a clinic in Sandy Shore Medicial Center, however I do miss the fast paced nature of the Emergency room so I would like to reinstate. I feel like the knowledge and skills i've picked up in my primary care role have made me into a successful dual qualified attending physican. I've relocated to Los Santos recently and i've been communting to Sandy Shore which has been draining. I'm very happy to see what changes and differences there are at PHMC. I hope I can fit back in as a member of the team. I look forward to meeting and greeting all of the specialists now working at PHMC. For some background I am orignally from South Africa which is where I started my career in the 1980s initally as a paramedic and then as an intern in 1992, I became an attending physican in Emergency Medicine in 1998 and then persued a dual qualification in Primary care in 2004, I relocated to the USA in the mid 2010s and since then have gained US citizenship. I have special interests in cardiac arrest management, difficult airways, ENT emergencies and emergency obstetrics, alongside primary care interests in public health promotion and anti-microbial resistance. Despite being an old hand I am constantly keeping my practice up to date with the latest evidenced based practice. I look forward to hearing from you.
