I've always wanted to give something back to the community and this is what drove me to take an interest in medicine. I'm a team player who can listen respectfully, believes everybody has something they can teach to, and learn from others, and I can confidently take charge of a situation when appropriate. I believe being from another country could help bring a fresh perspective to the clinic, benefiting both my own professional development and the quality-of-service PHMC can provide to the Los Santos community. I also believe my past experience in both general medicine and emergency services will set me up to hit the ground running at PHMC.

8.7)How long has it been since you began roleplaying in general?: I RP'd back on LS:RP in ~2009 and the early 2010s for about about a year or two on and off. The majority of my time there was spent roleplaying as an EMT in the LS EMS. I RP in other mediums off the platform (e.g. in D&D) and am excited to be getting back into the world of GTA RP once again!

8.9)What's the backstory of your character? Provide information in regards to your character's childhood, education, past jobs, hobbies, motivations, future goals, and everything else you find relevant:
Maxwell Clayne, or Max as he's commonly known didn't have a particularly tough life. He grew up in a humble middle class home in Sydney, Australia with parents who did what they could for him. Max was a smart kid, albeit quick to anger and become frustrated when things didn't go his way. He graduated top of his class and was accepted into undergrad biology after high school and the MChD after graduating with his bachelors. As many students did, Max took a little Adderall here and there to get through the long hours of assignments and exam prep - "it wasn't a big deal..." he used to tell his friends, "... everybody does it, it's fine."
For almost 7 years through undergrad and most postgrad it was fine, but the final exam period of his final term in his Doctorate is when Max's life would change forever. Another guy in class, Jason, who Max had very little to do with came up to him during cram week and asked if he had any spare Adderall, claiming his usual supplier was off campus for the holidays early after finishing their exams. Max being so focused on his study thought nothing of it and offered to sell a couple pills to the guy for a little more than he paid, figuring he could use a few extra bucks to celebrate after exams this year.
Fast forward a couple days and Jason gets caught with dozens of Adderall pills in his dorm room. When asked where he got them, he said Max sold him the lot. The uni asked around the cohort and many of Max's peers commented that they knew he was using and despite a lack of evidence the school sided with Jason and assumed Max was distributing Adderall illegally to the cohort. While still permitted to graduate after passing all of his final assessments and law enforcement was not involved (attributed largely to Max's otherwise promising future in the medical field), Max was forbidden from working in any form of medical facility in Australia for 6 months and through that time he was to complete 80 hours of community service per month.
Max did some research online immediately after graduating and after contemplating a move to the US, he decided against it, wanting to do his service so to speak so he could move on with his life. A few weeks after his six months service was completed, Max received an email.. 80% discount on one-way tickets to Los Santos. "Fuck it", he thought, "if it doesn't work out, I just get a ticket home and move on with my life right? Gives me a chance to use that citizenship from mum I've never taken advantage of too..", so he confirmed his documentation was all valid, after which he bought a ticket and left with the clothes on his back and the dollars in his bank account.
