To whom will be reading this letter, I have taken quite some time on thinking about this and what I would say that would make me stand out more then any other applicants. I keep having a hard time coming up with an answer to that. I believe everyone brings their own strengths, as well as their own weaknesses to any job the work at. Something that does make me stand apart is my dedication and passion to help others when they can't help themselves. Right after I graduated high school my brother was involved in a hit and run accident. He was pronounced DOA. It was the hardest thing for my family and I to go through. The night mares still haunt us. We were later informed that if there were more staff within the hospital and fire department that he may have survived. The day I got the news was the day I dedicated my life in to helping in any ways I can. I can ensure you that I will always dedicate my life to helping and serving others. More so, I want to grow within the nursing department as well as advance my degree. I have only just begun learning. I believe that I can be useful in helping in anyway I can. I have little things that make me squeamish. I just hope to be considered for such a honor as helping to save others lives so no one has to endure the loss that I have. I know death is not 100 percent preventable, but I do know with a lack of resources, the rates are way higher.

Makenzie grew up in Flag Staff, Arizona with her adopted mother and father. Her biological parents unable to provide for her, it was better in the long run. Her father, Richard Sampson had made partner in his law firm at an early age. He quickly went on to open his own firm. He had hoped his daughter and remaining child would take after him and inherit the firm. Makenzie had other choices in mind. Much like her mother, Makenzie had spent a lot of time advocating for the local fire department and EMS. Donating her time to set up auctions and charities to raise money for better equipment. When she wasn't there, she was deep in her studies, all the way until she received her CNA license. She had a younger brother who passed away in high school due to vehicular homicide. Their town was ill equiped, due to tax cuts to provide an adequate response time. He passed away on scene before taken in for medical attention. The devestating actions crushed Makenzie, but fueled her dreams and determinations. She wanted to help people and would do everything in her power to stop or prevent someone else having to endure such a loss. Right after high school she attended college and became a certified nursing assitant, still attending classes to grow within the nursing department. After graduation, she packed her things and left home, moving to San Andreas. Her strong Catholic heritage, and belief in God had her traveling to do his work. Unsure of where she would end up or what would happen, she landed in town and wasted no time in finding the best ways to pursue her dreams and passions.
