To whom it may concern:
My drive to become a nurse comes from my desire to be a part of a profession where I know my work is making a difference and being able to see how it makes people's lives better. Back home in Germany I come from a huge family of those in the medical field and being a nurse has always been a dream of mine.
I am applying at Pillbox specifically not only because of its short distance to ULSA, and the blossoming internship program, but also the amazing reputation of the hospital. I know that this internship will give me the tools I need to hit the ground running when I graduate and be successful.
I believe the qualities of this position apply to me because I am a motivated student who is ready to learn and I have a fair bit of experience helping at my family’s practice back home. However what really makes me excited to apply is the potential opportunity to work hands on with patients and practice my bedside manner. I believe what puts me ahead of other applicants for this position is my proficiency with many different languages, as well as my background as a foreign student.
I am super excited to have the possibility of working with the many amazing doctors and nurses and just be a part of the team.

Erika comes from a wealthy family of medical practitioners in Germany which afforded her a great early education and many opportunities to travel the world. Through all this traveling she has picked up a few languages as well as experienced quite a few different cultures. On top of the few languages she has picked up she also adopted some beliefs and lifestyle choices like mediation, pacifism, and veganism. One thing that played a huge part in her decision to study in LS was her love for skateboarding as its her favorite hobby, as well as the diverse backgrounds of many of the city's residents. After studying at ULSA for a few semesters she picked up a modeling job at ULSA as a way to help pay for college and spent half a year there. Currently she is torn between pursing a career based on looks or one on expertise. Before graduating she plans on trying to iron out whether or not she wants to pick up right where she left off modeling or start her nursing career.
