I firmly believe that this is my calling, this is my goal and purpose in life. I want to be able to assist people with their troubles and their hurt. All my life, I've been taught to treat others with respect and dignity, and I believe that will help me get far in this career. I can't quite afford going to full college on my own, so I am hoping that this route will help me in a way that I can get some experience and knowledge of what it is to become a nurse. I am determined to make this work, so I can stop relying on my parents as well for so much and help my family.

8.9)Do you have any real life medical experience or have you roleplayed in medical factions in the past?: I'm a medical technician IRL - so I mainly deal with samples given to the lab to test (blood, urine, feces, any other body fluid, etc).
8.10)What's the backstory of your character? Provide information in regards to your character's childhood, education, past jobs, hobbies, motivations, future goals, and everything else you find relevant:
Raelynn Dodd, so far, has lead a fairly simple and reserved life. She never takes risks, she never disobeys her parent's wishes for her, she never has done drugs, or even had a boyfriend. Rae is the definition of a picture perfect child for her parents. However, her excitement came from movies and novels that she spent hours pouring into, creating a fantasy of unrealistic expectations of life.
As she's always lived away from crime, and never has been exposed to it much or even heard much of it due to her overprotective parents (always keeping the news off, never adventuring into 'hot' areas, she's naive in such ways.
Throughout high school, the teachers always ask the students, "What do you want to be? What do you want to go to college for?" After watching a ton of dramaticizing TV shows of nurses and doctors on TV, reading about the heroic efforts they've done - Raelynn has come to terms that she is set on becoming a nurse to help. She believes that she will see little kids with sore throats, or older individuals with bruises due to falling.
During this second half of her senior year, reality hit her a bit too hard when she got in a car wreck with her brother and parents. Raelynn made it out with just a few glass shards, resulting in vision impairment (glasses!) and a scar to her face. Her parents, definite case of whiplash that would torment them in their older years with back aches and whatnot. Her brother, was not so lucky and ended up in a coma where he is in a nearby hospital - still in the coma as her parents figure out what to do, to figure out if he can make it through or not.
Raelynn's brother has been in a coma for 4 months now, not being able to make it to her graduation of high school. The neurologists that the parents have seen all say he won't be waking up anytime soon. Raelynn's parents have tried keeping this from her, but she has heard whispering in the middle of the night of this.. This solidified her wants and needs of getting into nursing, her unrealistic way of thinking that perhaps doing this could be the way her brother comes back to her and her family.
