Visiting Regulations
Following are general guidelines for visitors:
- Smoking is prohibited on all Pillbox Hill Medical Center floors and facilities.
- Visitors must dress appropriately and must wear shirts and shoes.
- Visitors in semi-private rooms should be considerate of both patients.
- People with colds, sore throats or any contagious diseases should not visit patients.
- Visitors should maintain a quiet environment and avoid unnecessary noise.
- Visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient.
- Patient visits will be determined per care team discretion.
Visiting Hours:
Visiting hours are important for the care and comfort of all our patients and will be enforced.
- The emergency entrance is accessible 24-hours a day.
- The front desk is accessible 24-hours a day.
- Visitors are encouraged to check in at the front desk when visiting a patient.
- Patients who are asleep may not be visited.
- Patients visits are allowed 24-hours a day, as long as the patient is awake.
