Moving to the United States of America in my early twenties, I was fortunate enough to be taken on by the Insight Choices Office, in their Downtown Vinewood branch. I started as a Counseling Psychologist; a fresh-faced newbie eager to impress and help those around me, whether they were members of my team or clients. Over the following seven years I was with them, I managed to qualify to become a fully-fledged and trusted Psychologist, taking on various notable clientelle myself. Around this I became pregnant and subsequently decided it was best for my health, as well as the health of my child to take maternity leave. Due to other familial matters outside of my own, I laid to hand in a resignation and focused on my newfound motherhood, only taking the occasional private client. I have been fortunate enough to work with people ranging from "less serious" cases, like that of those struggling to navigate their lives after a romantic relationship has ended. To those battling with illegal and legal drug addictions, unable to function in their proper lives without the assistance of Psychologist and Psychiatric aid. During my time working freelance, I have also had the ability to work alongside members of community that hold positions of power or celebrity status. Although my qualification is in the general field of Psychology. I have come to specialise in

Working for an institution such as Pillbox Hill Medical Center feels like the correct direction for my career to go. I have already worked for private companies and worked for myself on a freelance basis. I feel that becoming a member of a hospital team and working with other's able to create plans of medical care for other's would be the next right step for my career and contributing to the bigger picture. This field of work is something I find comes innately to myself and I have so much drive, to try and better the lives of those around us. Working under the Pillbox Medical Centre name, would allow me to provide my services on a larger, more readily available scale and most importantly, the service is subsidised by the state. I believe physical and mental health care should be free and readily available to all members of our state, regardless of background.
