During my time in college I had taken on some internship programs that offered me the experience needed working under and with qualified doctors, registered nurses and surgeons. Graciously, I had the opportunities to see and work around with doctors, nurses and surgeons being allowed into the rooms whilst surgeries were being performed, also aiding in doing simple tasks, analyzing and taking the reigns, leading to my first three procedures which were successful. Soon thereafter I had graduated college, I went to my home country (Jamaica) to help and work with the local hospitals, travelling all across the island from as far as Kingston to Montego Bay, gaining as much hands-on experience as possible while getting a new outlook on a different culture, understanding that even with the current status of the country they still need medical help regardless of the situation, especially within a crisis.

Ever since coming back to the states from Jamaica, I had been more interested into finding a residency within a company that I can see myself learning from and growing with. Given the right opportunity, I can provide proof of my capabilities which will benefit all.
