Dominique "Dom" Laxamana is a 33-year-old Filipino-American male raised in Santa Clara California and was born on the 17th Day of January 1990. The Porter family is a renowned family with a long lineage in the medical field since the 1980s. In contrast, his mother, Charlotte Alexander is also a prominent person in the field who even became a Chief Medical Officer at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Meanwhile, Laxamana's family lineage is focused on business even owning an organization called "Alexander Corporation". However, despite them being laser-focused on business, Mr. Frederick Laxamana, the father of Dominique, took a different path as she took a law degree and became a District Attorney in Manila, Philippines, his origin.
Since Dom was a child, he has been close to his mother, Charlotte. Once in a while, Charlotte brings his child to her workplace at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for her children to meet her colleagues, especially in times were both of them (Charlotte & Frederick) are busy and no one will be left for their children. It was the time when Dominique took an interest in the medical field and his mother's burning passion was also passed to him. Especially after he realized how the hands of a healthcare professional can save many lives of people and touch their hearts with incomparable compassion.
To embark on his journey as a Doctor, Dominique took a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of California Santa Clara for his pre-med course and then finished the program excellently by graduating with Latin Honors. Later on, he obtained his degree of Doctor in Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine where he also took his internship (Stanford University Medical Center).
As everything went well according to plan, unfortunately, a typhoon occurred in Santa Clara that devastated the house of their family. To start a new beginning, the Alexander-Laxamana family decided to go near Charlotte's paternal hometown in Los Santos City, San Andreas. Dominique joined his family in migrating to the state but also decided to move independently for his growth. To fulfill his dreams, emulating her mother's excellence in the medical field, he is now searching for an institution where he can continue his path to greatness.
